I've only had my White Noise backpack for a short time, but I'm delighted with it so far. I was looking for an everyday bag that I could enjoy for years rather than another cheap bag that would need replacing after a year or two. This feels like a completely different class of product.
The leather is beautiful—rich in colour, substantial, and it smells absolutely wonderful! It was quite stiff when it arrived, which I wasn't expecting, but I've already noticed it beginning to settle with use. I also appreciated the note explaining that the leather had been treated with Time Resistance's balsam before shipping.
It's a very practical size for me. I carry two e-readers, a notebook, wallet, phone and various smaller items, and everything fits comfortably without the backpack looking bulky or overfilled. The internal pockets and two external zipped pockets are useful, and I love having the top handle as well as the backpack straps.
The stitching and hardware feel sturdy, and the lifetime guarantee gives me confidence that this is a bag designed to go the distance. Obviously I can't comment on long-term durability yet, but the quality of the materials and construction is immediately apparent.
Plus, I just really enjoy looking at it! It's practical, beautifully made and has exactly the timeless, understated style I wanted. I'm looking forward to seeing how the leather develops and softens over the years.
